Holding out for a Hiro
I am most disappointed with the second season of Heroes. To improve the show, I think that Parkman needs to get paralyzed from the waist down and Clair needs to get her skeleton coated in a rare super tough metal.
As I am often reminded by my friends and colleagues in the literary side of academia, there are in fact only 7 original stories. Everything else is just a variant or combination of these 7. And now, I believe that one of those 7 stories is the X-men story.

Unfortunately, my reliable source on this matter can't remember the 7 stories off the top of her head. More research is required.
